Youth Dynamics will be visiting in the nurses office at lunch tomorrow.

Students: Today Mr. Melby is here from the Tobacco Coalition from 9 to noon. This week is quit spit tobacco week in Montana. Mr. Melby has this message for you: No matter what kind of tobacco you use please stop in and see me.  For those of you that don’t use tobacco Congratulations. You are making wise decisions regarding your health and your money. *Teachers and coaches, if you know students who chew or smoke please encourage them to see me on Tuesday morning.

 

Track and Field: For any student interested in being faster, stronger, and mentally tougher, there are sign up sheets for track and field in office by the phone. Please stop by the office and print your name on either the boy's or girl's sheet along with your grade and shirt size. Stay tuned for a pre-season meeting the week after we cheer on the Red Devils at divisional.  Track is a sport with no bench and the more the merrier!

 

Key Club: There will be a key club meeting today at lunch in Mr. Sikveland’s health room. Bring your lunch and a friend.

 

The Marine Corp will be at DCHS today, February 20th.  Both will be here over the lunch hour.  If you would like to speak with either recruiter, stop at their table outside the cafeteria at lunch.

 

ACT Prep:  ACT prep sessions will be held on February  27th and March 6th for anyone interested in prepping for the ACT.  Sessions will be held at 6:00 pm in Mrs. Selvig's health classroom.   Each night will focus on one of the four multiple choice sections of the test.  Remember, the ACT will be given to Juniors on March 20th, but anyone is welcome to attend the prep sessions.  Please note, this week's session has been moved to Thursday night, February 15th, same time and place.

 

Lunch for today:  chicken noodle soup with biscuit, fruit, veggie, & milk or Salad bar.

STUDENTS AND TEACHERS HELP US GROW OUR TREE!!! WE HAVE A TREE IN THE BULLETIN BOARD BY THE OFFICE. EVERY RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS NOTICED BY TEACHERS OR STUDENTS WILL EARN A LEAF ON THE TREE. THIS WILL GROW THE TREE TO BE BEAUTIFUL AND FULL OF LIFE. JUST AS IT WILL FOR THE ACTS OF KINDNESS THROUGH OUT OUR SCHOOL. IF YOU NOTICE A TEACHER OR STUDENT DOING SOMETHING FOR SOMEONE ELSE PLEASE LET THE OFFICE KNOW AND WE WILL TAKE CARE OF THE REST. Students can also participate and let us know that a teacher has done a random act of kindness they just need to come to the office between periods.
